Certification of Training for Confined Space Personnel
Federal OSHA confined space standards for construction (1926 Subpart AA) and General Industry (1910.146) require employers to provide affected workers involved in all phases of confined space entry operations with effective confined space training, and to certify the completion of all training provided by producing and maintaining a written certification of confined space training for each trainee. This documentation of confined space training applies to all training provided for confined space entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors at general industry and construction work sites with permit-required confined spaces, as well as training provided for the Competent Person at construction sites.
On Site Confined Space Training Certification
Our highly qualified confined space trainer will come to your site to conduct and certify a confined space training class for your group of employees. On site confined space training classes will be based on either the OSHA 1926 Subpart AA confined spaces for construction standards, or the 1910.146 permit-required confined space entry standards for general industry. All on site confined space training classes will be thoroughly documented to meet OSHA confined space certification requirements, and are available to employers located throughout the entire United States and all U.S. territories.
Online Confined Space Training Certification
Students also have the option to take one of our many comprehensive online confined space training courses. We have online courses for employees working as confined space entrants, attendants, entry supervisors, and the Competent Person working in the construction fields, as well as for confined space entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors working in general industry entry operations.
Sign up one student for an online confined space certification course, or use our free Learner Management System (LMS) to purchase multiple online confined space training courses, assign them to individual students, and track their status as they progress through their training. All online training courses are immediately available upon registration. Students can train at their own pace, logging in and out at any time, even from different computers / devices. Then, the student or their learner manager (where applicable) can print the student’s personalized training certification for confined space training upon successful completion of their course. This will serve as documentation to certify completion of their confined space training course.

Important Information About OSHA Confined Space Certification
Do not pay attention to advertisements that claim that taking their training course makes you “OSHA certified” to entered confined spaces, or that you will receive your “OSHA certification” as a confined space entrant, attendant, entry supervisor, or competent person. OSHA does not “certify” any person for confined space entry work, nor are you “OSHA certified” to enter confined spaces. OSHA merely requires the employer to provide all required confined space entry training to affected workers, and then certify that training was provided, as we do by providing students in our on site and online training courses with personalized certificates that certify that confined space training was conducted.
